I have, unfortunately, been a witness to the extremes of homophobia and it is no small feat for me to control myself when it materializes in front of me.
The talk below about fighting with nonviolence, is something I believe in wholeheartedly and I thought I would share it with you..

Instinctively, I knew it was bad. Yet, until September of 2012, I had no idea how bad. Ignorant. I was ignorant. Plain, simple, and completely inexcusable.
How can I help?
I was recently asked about my ‘Philosophy of Life.’ Honestly, I had to think about this one. But for me, at this stage in my life, it comes down to this:
When we started this writing crusade some 18+ months ago one of my first questions was how I could make a difference concerning those issues that are important to me. Making a difference doesn’t always mean a monetary donation as some believe. I believe too many people shy away from what matters most to them because they fear that what they can offer is inadequate.
