Day two of the tour and we’re over at Smoocher’s Voice. Carrie-Ann was kind enough to bring in a few ringers to help interview (interrogate) me about the new gay romance, Cold.

Prison is a brutal, heartless, and demeaning environment. No one knows this better than a man sentenced to life in prison for murder. Lem Porter is a high-profile prisoner who had a solid career ahead of him in a field he loved until he killed his brother. He has spent almost eighteen years behind bars and doesn’t have much hope left.
Anderson Passero had it all. He built a career, a name, and a relationship with a man he thought he loved. Only after he very publicly landed in prison did he realize how ignorant he’d been. He has eight months left on his sentence and he is eager to go home and put prison life behind him. He doesn’t know it yet, but he will always carry these eight months with him, and they may just help him to understand what love really means.

Welcome Elizabeth Noble to the blog. She’s here to tell us about her favorite book. As I did with many of the guest authors I’ve had here before, I asked Elizabeth to pick her favorite from one of her own books. And she was nice enough to give us an excerpt too!
Thank you for having me today!
I have lots of favorites that revolve around my writing. A favorite way to write, as well as a place. Favorite things to surround myself with when I write, but an actual favorite book? I nearly gave myself hives trying to pick a favorite book of mine that I’d written. How could I possibly do that? It was like saying pick my favorite child.
Each book has its good and bad from the point of the writer. The book I’m most excited about is the one I’m currently writing. The book that gives me a warm gooey feeling (the thank heavens it’s done feeling) in my stomach is the one about to be released. But a favorite among the books already published, that was hard. So, I employed my variation of an age old technique. I stood in front of the framed versions of my covers, closed my eyes and went eenee, menie, miney, moe. [Read more...]
Welcome author Brian Centrone to the blog.
Some of my readers may not be familiar with you Brian, please tell us a little about yourself.
Thanks for the invite Brandon, I’m glad to be here. I lived for three years in Manchester where I got my MA in Novel Writing from The University of Manchester. I teach writing and literature in New York and Ohio. I am a big pop culture junkie; I love fashion, music, art and literature. Creativity fuels me – always has. I am a very private person though my effusive personality might suggest otherwise. [Read more...]

Thank you so much for having me here today, Brandon. Today I’ll be talking a bit about how my own life and the life of people I know or read about got mixed up within the writing of the Black Sheep Trilogy.
Black Sheep over all deals with a few over reaching themes: abuse, self mutilation, depression and, most of all, love. What I’ve experienced within the LGBT community is that almost everyone has to deal with these subjects either for themselves or because of friends at one point or another. They are strong themes and I might have overestimated the impact some of these things have on one’s life and how to express them properly within my writing. [Read more...]
