Most of my regular readers know how much I love music so I thought I might make a few posts here and there about some of the artists I come across that touch a nerve with their voice, their music, or just their overall vibe.
Sybil Gage is someone I’ve been following for a number of years. She’s an LGBT supporter from New Orleans with a sound that swings somewhere between Jazz and Blues of the old Vaudeville style. I had the opportunity to see her live in NYC a few years back and she brought the house down. She’s one of those musicians that kicks up the club, pulls in requests from audiences, and belts out some of the oldest Jazz & Blues classics out there along with her own music. In other words a real club performer.
And from what one of my closest buds has said, she’s got a gay groupie fan base that just keeps on growing. I guess I’ll have to count myself among their numbers. Check her out for yourself at SybilSings.com.
